I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were large and comfortable with a balcony, but they needed a good cleaning as they were extremely dusty. The service was amazing with cordial, professional staff and lots of smiles, although the room seemed to be a bit on the pricier side. The location was good, with some shopping nearby and a fantastic coffee deli across the street, but the hill it's situated on and the dark lighting were not my favorites. The dining experience, though cozy, fell short of my expectations as the free continental breakfast offered only cereal and juice.

The location was excellent, just a couple of miles away from Lake Michigan access, with convenient shopping options nearby, including a delightful coffee deli across the street. Dining was a letdown due to limited options during holidays, which was a shame given the peaceful surroundings and pleasant room. Overall, the hotel offers a comfortable stay with areas needing improvement in terms of room maintenance and dining experience.
